Megastar Chiranjeevi recently met acclaimed Malayalam director Tharun Moorthy at his Hyderabad residence, creating buzz among fans and film circles.
Soon after the meeting, Tharun clarified on Instagram that it was not regarding a remake of his hit film Thudarum. The director revealed that Chiranjeevi personally invited him for a meeting, following which he immediately flew to Hyderabad.
“We spoke a lot about cinema and personal life. He detailed each and every sequence from all my movies. I was truly over the moon,” wrote Tharun.
Praising Chiranjeevi’s passion for cinema, the director added that the superstar still watches films with the excitement of a newcomer, which is what makes him special.
Calling it one of the biggest moments of his life, Tharun described the interaction as a “lifetime’s biggest excitement.”
Though the director dismissed remake rumours, fans believe there could be something fresh brewing between the duo. With Chiranjeevi appreciating Tharun’s filmmaking style in detail, speculation about a possible collaboration has already started. As of now, no official announcement has been made.
