It is well-known that farmers from Northern states like Punjab, Hariyana, and Uttar Pradesh are protesting on the new farm laws introduced by the central government. Agitations are going on for the past three months are so but not even one of the Bollywood stars extended their support to the protests.
Meanwhile, reacting to the same issue, Bollywood star heroine Sonakshi Sinha posted a video on her official Instagram account. She also narrated the video with a description, ” Nazarein milake, khud se poocho – kyun? A tribute to the hands that feed us… a beautiful poem written by @varadbhatnagar. Shot and conceptualized by @gursanjam.s.puri and narrated by me. #farmersprotest”.
While many stars are hesitating to react to the farmers’ protests, Sonakshi Sinha’s daring acting has been receiving good appreciation from all quarters.
