The other day, we reported that the Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar’s adaptation of the highly acclaimed Kollywood film Soorarai Pottru, which originally starred Suriya, is set to hit theaters on July 12, 2024.
In the latest development, the makers have officially revealed the film’s title as Sarfira, alongside dropping a glimpse to mark the announcement of the release date.
Spearheaded by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara, who also directed the original Tamil version, the Hindi adaptation aims to maintain the essence of the original story while catering to a broader audience.
Produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape Of Good Films), Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment), and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), Sarfira boasts music by GV Prakash Kumar.
