On his passing, millions of fans and well-wishers from the film fraternity across the country are remembering the legacy of legendary singer Padma Bhushan SP Balasubrahmanyam with a heavy heart. Even the political world is heartbroken with the tragic demise of the legend with the magical voice.
Indian President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and both the Telugu Chief Ministers KCR and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and several state and national political leaders took to social media and condoled Balu’s death and hailed his selfless service to the Indian musical world for over 5 decades.
In the passing of music legend SP Balasubrahmanyam Indian music has lost one of its most melodious voices. Called ‘Paadum Nila' or ‘Singing Moon’ by his countless fans, he was honoured with Padma Bhushan and many National Awards. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers.
