Bollywood has become very fond of south Indian films and that is an open secret now. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan etc are devoting their time to films that have a good south Indian flavour either through remakes or themes.
Shah Rukh Khan scored a massive hit last year in the form of Chennai Express, a film which had traditional Chennai themes. Now, the actor is reportedly considering a massive multistarrer film involving top South Indian actors.
Industry sources say that SRK has been approached with this proposal by a few filmmakers and the star is now actively considering it. Nothing has been finalised yet. With a good south Indian fan base, this move could be a win win situation for SRK, Bollywood as well as South Indian Film Industries.
In the past, Rajinikanth paired up with Amitabh Bachchan for such projects. Let us hope that this project materialises. Who will play the lead role along with SRK in such a project? Leave your options in the comments section below.
