Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s collaboration with Prabhas for Spirit has generated massive buzz, with expectations already running high. Around 50 days of shooting with Prabhas were completed nearly two months ago.
After that schedule, Prabhas returned to Fauzi, his other upcoming film, to wrap up his portions before getting back into Spirit mode. However, two months have passed, and the actor, who was expected to begin the next leg of Spirit in September, is yet to join the sets.
There was speculation that Prabhas would resume shooting this month, but the ongoing Spirit schedule in Mumbai is currently taking place without him. This has left fans eagerly waiting for the actor to finish his Fauzi commitments and return to the sets of Spirit.
Meanwhile, Fauzi has officially moved out of its December 3, 2026 release date and is now expected to arrive in 2027. With that change, there is also speculation that Spirit could undergo a date change despite its announced March 5, 2027 release. However, no such change has been officially confirmed.
Spirit is a joint production of T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, with Harshavardhan Rameshwar composing the music. Vivek Oberoi is set to play the antagonist. More updates on Spirit are expected as the shoot progresses.
