Karthi is all set to amuse the audiences with his 25th film, Japan, directed by Sr Raju Murugan. Produced by SR Prabhu, the heist thriller has Anu Emmanuel as the female lead. The movie will hit the screens on 10 November. Today, the producer interacted with the media.
SR Prabhu said, “Movies like Japan will leave a lasting impact. Karthi did a terrific job. Japan is a heist film that discusses humanity and elements that reflect society. Raju Murugan’s ideas are very unique. He looks at the society from a different perspective. Making different films and getting the audience’s appreciation makes me happy.”
SR Prabhu further said, “The get-up and voice modulation of Karthi drew the audience’s attention. The audience will also like Ani Emmanuel’s character. GV Prakash Kumar composed music according to Japan’s character, and hence, the songs are different. Next, we have films with Rashmika Mandanna and Keerthy Suresh.”
