Talented Telugu hero Sreenivas Bellamkonda is making his Hindi debut with the film Chatrapathi which is the remake of the Tollywood blockbuster Chatrapathi. Bankrolled by the popular production house Pen Studios, VV Vinayak directed the film. The movie is all set for a massive release on 12th May.
After the power-packed teaser, the makers today unveiled the theatrical trailer. The protagonist is in search of his mother and a younger brother who has migrated from Pakistan to India after riots in the neighboring country. Sreenivas goes against bigwigs to fight for the rights of the people. The trailer is a feast for the masses with intense action sequences and elevations.
Sreenivas Bellamkonda looks rugged and massy and portrayed the titular role effortlessly. The emotional angle between the male lead and his mother also looks good. Nushrratt Bharuccha, as the protagonist’s love interest, looked gorgeous. The makers made crucial changes to the remake version to ensure the film appeals to this generation’s audiences. Nizar Ali Shafi’s cinematography is excellent, and Tanishk Bagchi’s background score nicely elevates the mass sequences.
The production values are splendid. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the story for the original version, is also the writer for the remake. Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, and Jason played vital roles.
