Athiloka Sundari Sridevi, made a comeback into films with English Vinglish. Many expected her to do more films but she apparently rejected most of them and distanced herself from movies again.
Sridevi surprised everyone by accepting to play a key role in the Tamil film Puli. Shooting of this film is complete and Sridevi looks stunning as the queen in the trailers.
Reports reveal that Sridevi took special interest from her costumes to her jewellery. A complete original jewellery was designed for this film which will later be used for the promotions. Directed by Chimbu Devan Puli has Vijay, Shruthi Haasan, Hansika and Kannada super star Sudeep in other important roles.
