Shah Rukh Khan’s King is special because it marks the silver screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. The gangster action drama will be directed by Siddharth Anand, of War and Pathaan fame. The director is currently focusing on achieving perfection in the script, and the shoot will commence very soon.
SRK will have a female lead in this biggie. After considering multiple actors, the team is said to have finalized Deepika Padukone for the pivotal role. According to a report in Peeping Moon, Deepika has been locked to play Suhana Khan’s mother and SRK’s former lover in what is said to be a revenge action thriller.
Deepika’s role is reportedly an extended cameo but is expected to serve as the primary conflict in the story. The report further stated that Deepika gave her nod instantly after the narration. If this collaboration happens, it will be Deepika Padukone’s sixth film with Shah Rukh Khan. Abhishek Bachchan plays the antagonist, and Shah Rukh Khan essays a seasoned assassin.
