Varun Dhawan proved his worth as an actor with the films Badlapur and October. This year he had two releases in the form of JugJugg Jeeyo and Bhediya. The latter received highly positive reviews but didn’t perform as per expectations.
Speaking about the same, Varun Dhawan said that he expected the film to do much better in terms of collections. Varun made it clear that he wasn’t sad about that and said Bhediya did better than other projects that were released in 2022.
Varun Dhawan went on to say that the pandemic disturbed him, after which he decided to do only those films that give him satisfaction as an artist. Varun’s next film is Bawaal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame, and has Janhvi Kapoor as the other lead.
