In a noble gesture, Tamil star Vishal has decided to donate 1 rupee from each ticket cut on the first day of the release of his latest film, Thupparivalan, to the grieving farmers of Tamil Nadu. Thupparivalan is a detective thriller and the film releases today.
In the past, Vishal actively participated in the farmers protests in Tamil Nadu and New Delhi. He even met the Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley and urged him to resolve the farmers issues. Vishal recently announced that he will step into active politics in future.
