The principal shooting of Ranveer Singh starrer ’83, a biopic on Kapil Dev began a few days back. To be directed by Kabir Khan, the film’s shoot will take place mostly in Dharamshala and Mumbai areas.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that star heroine and Ranveer Singh’s better half Deepika Padukone will be essaying Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev’s role in this film. The film also has many noted stars in key roles.
Vishnu Induri is presenting the film and is tentatively scheduled for an April 2020 release.
