South Indian sensation Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up to entertain audiences with the gangster action drama Coolie. The biggie, headlined by Superstar Rajinikanth, is set to hit the screens on August 14, 2025. After Coolie’s release, Lokesh will start working on the remaining projects in LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe).
The immediate film in the franchise will be Kaithi 2, spearheaded by Karthi. The first part was a solid blockbuster, and movie buffs are waiting with bated breath for the sequel. According to the latest rumors, Anushka Shetty is expected to be part of Kaithi 2’s cast.
Rumors are rife that Anushka will play a powerful gangster in this much-anticipated flick. It is being said that the makers have already approached the actress. An official confirmation is yet to be made. For the unversed, Karthi and Anushka previously starred in the film Alex Pandian.
