Badla, the super hit Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee-starrer suspense thriller, has collected over Rs 110 crores worldwide. The film is an official remake of an acclaimed Spanish film. Badla was co-produced by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Now, if the latest buzz in Kollywood circles is anything to go by, Badla will be remade in Tamil and Telugu, with star heroine Trisha reprising Taapsee’s role. The actor who will play Amitabh’s role has not been finalized yet. Radhamohan of Gaganam fame will direct this remake and Dhananjaya will bankroll it.
