Well, Disha’s father has now made headlines. Not many know that her father, Jagdish Patani, is a deputy superintendent of police in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
The news is that he has filed a case against some of his colleagues and other individuals, alleging that they extorted ₹25 lakhs from him by promising a high-ranking position in the police department.
Three men reportedly duped Disha’s father, demanding ₹5 lakhs in cash and transferring the remaining ₹20 lakhs to different accounts. When the promised position did not materialize, he became suspicious and discovered he had been cheated.
