Jana Nayagan marks the farewell film for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. The film, directed by H. Vinoth, didn’t meet expectations, but it still put up strong numbers at the box office. Jana Nayagan was released as Jana Neta in Hindi.
Following the standard 8-week OTT window, the Hindi version has now made its way to ZEE5. In theatres, the Hindi version made only a limited impact, and hence the dubbed version is expected to clock good viewership in the digital space.
Produced by KVN Productions on a massive budget, Jana Nayagan features Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, and several others in key roles. Anirudh composed the tunes.
