It was emotions galore at Dorasaani’s pre-release event tonight. Speaking at the event, Vijay Deverakonda moved to tears as he recollected his bond with his brother Anand Deverakonda, who’s making his acting debut with the film.
Interestingly, Vijay revealed that he had stopped talking to Anand when he told him that he quit his job in the US and decided to act in movies. “I didn’t like Anand’s decision and told him that acting is not an easy job. Since that day I didn’t enquire about how Dorasaani was progressing. I watched the film before coming to the event and I must say, the entire team has made me proud,” said Vijay, also adding that he could realize his acting dream only because of Anand’s financial support.
Dorasaani stars Shivathmika Rajasekhar as its leading lady. Debutant Mahendra is the director and Yash Rangineni and Madhura Sreedhar are the producers. The film is releasing on July 12.
