Vetrimaaran recently grabbed eyeballs by announcing the closure of his production house, Grass Root Film Company. He is currently busy with the works of #STR49. Vetrimaaran and Simbu have shot a special promo for the film, which will be out on October 4.
The talk in Tamil film circles suggests that the sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score music for #STR49. Vetrimaaran has mostly collaborated with G.V. Prakash Kumar in his career, and now it seems the director is attempting something different with this Simbu starrer.
The movie will also likely mark Silambarasan’s first collaboration with Anirudh. Earlier, there were rumors that Simbu and Vetrimaaran’s film was Vada Chennai 2, but the filmmaker dismissed those speculations. After wrapping up #STR49, Vetrimaaran will move on to Vada Chennai 2.
