Of late there has been a lot of criticism about movie ticket prices, particularly in Telangana. Few audiences felt that exorbitant ticket prices are restricting them to watch movies in theatres, thereby reducing the footfalls. A lot of discussion about the same happened on social media.

Hence, it became a new way of advertising for filmmakers, saying that their films will be available at lower prices. Ticket prices are being mentioned in all the promotional activities. Now, the team of Happy Birthday too followed this new trend. The makers announced that the movie will be available at 110 Rupees in single screens and at 177 Rupees in Multiplexes.

This is surely a very strategic move. Already the movie generated good buzz through its trailer and other crazy promotions and now these economical ticket prices would definitely turn out to be a positive thing for the film. Happy Birthday is bankrolled by Clap Entertainment and is helmed by Ritesh Rana. Lavanya Tripathi, Naresh Agastya, Satya, and Vennela Kishore are playing lead roles. The film’s music is composed by Kaala Bhairava.
