As announced yesterday, the makers of SVSC and Narappa director Srikanth Addala’s upcoming film have unveiled the film’s title and first look poster just a while ago. The film is interestingly titled as Peddha Kapu 1, hinting that a second installment will also be out in future. The film introduces young hero Virat Karrna to the Telugu film industry.

Going by title, the intense first look poster and the caption “One Face, Many Voices: Uniting in the Name of Unrest,” Peddha Kapu 1 is going to be a hard-hitting social drama. The title has a caste reference, and it sure to create a huge noise during the film’s release. Except for his previous film, Narappa, which was a remake of Dhanush’s Asuran, Srikanth Addala mostly made clean romantic and family entertainers in his career. However, he seems to have changed tracks yet another time for Peddha Kapu 1.

Peddha Kapu 1 is being produced by Akhanda producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy under his Dwarka Creations banner. Mickey J Meyer is composing the music. More details about the film’s cast and crew members will be out soon.
