Bollywood star hero Varun Dhawan is currently busy shooting for Prime Video’s web series Citadel which also stars Samantha. Meanwhile, the actor’s upcoming film, Bawaal, is in the news now. The latest buzz in Bollywood film circles is that Bawaal will release directly on OTT.
According to a few reports, the makers have already struck a deal with the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video for the digital release. It is being said that the makers feel a direct OTT release would be appropriate for Bawaal, which doesn’t have commercial elements.
During lockdown, Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 had a direct release on Prime Video. The reports further claim that Bawaal will premiere on the OTT platform in the month of November. Hot beauty Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead. Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame is the director. Bawaal is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala.
