Subham is Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s new film, which has opened to great word of mouth. The horror comedy has been directed by Praveen Kandregula.

The makers were confident about the film and began airing paid premieres two days in advance, which helped generate buzz on social media.

However, the unfortunate part is that occupancy remains quite low across all release areas. With the weekend approaching, it remains to be seen how the film will fare in the coming days.

The low turnout is largely attributed to the absence of a major star in the film. Though the reviews are glowing, they have yet to translate into strong box office numbers.
