Sumanth is set to entertain audiences with the mystical thriller Mahendragiri Varahi. The film, directed by Santosh Jagarlapudi, has been in the making for quite some time. Today, the makers unveiled the teaser, and it looks quite interesting.
The teaser begins with the backstory of a clan cursed by Goddess Varahi. According to the curse, no male born into the clan survives beyond the age of 33. Years later, a series of mysterious deaths occur in Mahendragiri, and Sumanth arrives there to unravel the mystery.
The backstory is neatly explained in the teaser itself, helping the audience understand what to expect from the film. Aishwarya Rajesh and Malavika Nair play the female leads. Madhu Kalipu and Venkat have produced the film under the banners of Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films. Anup Rubens has composed the music.
