Sunny Deol’s mass action drama Jaat is still getting decent numbers at the box office. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood director Gopichand Malineni. With Sunday’s collections, the full-on action entertainer crossed Rs. 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
In India, Jaat amassed Rs. 75 crores nett till now. According to trade pundits, the Sunny Deol starrer is expected to collect over Rs. 90 crores nett in its lifetime. Buoyed by the box office numbers, the team recently announced a sequel, Jaat 2. After Sunny Deol wraps up his existing commitments, Jaat 2 will go on floors.
Jaat also stars Randeep Hooda, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Swarupa Ghosh in pivotal roles. Thaman S is the music composer. Mythri Movie Makers, in association with People Media Factory, produced this flick.
