Superstar Rajinikanth’s legal team moved to Madras High Court this morning. As per the reports, Rajini’s team approached Court to provide relaxation on the tax imposed on his famous Sri Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai.

Getting into details, earlier this month, Greater Chennai Corporation has imposed a property tax worth of ₹6.5 lakhs on the wedding hall. Challenging it, Rajini’s team filed a petition stating that Rajini is not ready to pay the amount as there is no income from the property from the past six months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, the High Court directed Rajinikanth to pay the property tax and settle down the issue.
