May 2025, Suriya joined hands with Telugu director Venky Atluri, whose last film Lucky Baskhar was a hit, for a fun family entertainer. Mamitha Baiju is the female lead in the film, tentatively titled Suriya 46.

The film is back in the headlines as the shooting has been wrapped. Post-production work will kick off soon. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The release date and other crucial details will be announced eventually.
