Suriya is currently deeply immersed in the shooting of Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva. In addition to this project, he has recently signed a new film, tentatively titled Suriya 43, under the direction of Sudha Kongara, which is set to commence production soon.
Breaking news reveals that the announcement video for Suriya 43, which Suriya shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) on October 26, 2023, has become the most viewed Indian video on the platform. The video has garnered an impressive 26.5 million views, surpassing the previous record held by Thalapathy Vijay (26.2 million views), who posted a video in December 2022.
Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with the shooting of Thalapathy 68 (tentative title), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Meenakshii Chaudhary is set to be the female lead in this project, produced under the AGS Entertainment banner, with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director.
