Kollywood actor Karthi is gearing up for the release of Meiyazhagan, where he shares the screen with Arvind Swami, directed by Prem Kumar. At the film’s recent audio launch, Karthi’s brother, Suriya, who is also the producer, stole the spotlight with his heartfelt message to the fans.

Addressing a key issue in the industry, Suriya called on fans to stop engaging in online battles over box office figures. He emphasised that movies are meant to be enjoyed and reviewed, not used as a reason to clash with others. The Kanguva star urged fans to focus on appreciating good cinema like Meiyazhagan and enjoy the theater experience.

Suriya’s candid remarks have won over many of his followers, who praised his thoughtful stance. Meiyazhagan is slated for release in Tamil on September 27, 2024, with its Telugu version, Satyam Sundaram, arriving a day later on September 28, just after Devara hits theaters.
