Star hero Suriya recently appeared in Karuppu, which was released in Telugu as Veera Bhadraudu. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film opened to a decent response at the box office. The theatrical numbers have been phenomenal, with the movie performing exceptionally well across centers. Trisha Krishnan played the female lead in the film.
The movie has now achieved a significant milestone in its home state of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil version crossed the massive Rs. 100 crore gross mark in the state within just 8 days of its release.
