Suriya is currently busy shooting his 46th film, directed by Venky Atluri. Tentatively titled #Suriya46, the movie is now in the production phase. Mollywood sensation Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead.
According to the latest buzz, the film is likely to hit the big screens in July 2026. Initially, it was speculated that the film would arrive in April 2026, but the latest reports suggest otherwise. An official confirmation is awaited.
Suriya’s role is said to be on the lines of Sanjay Ramasamy from Ghajini, and the film will explore the relationship between a 45-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon play key roles. The movie is being produced by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
