Suriya’s Kanguva hit theaters amidst high expectations but unfortunately fell short of entertaining audiences. Directed by Siruthai Siva and starring Disha Patani as the heroine, the film struggled to impress on the big screen.
The movie has now debuted on Amazon Prime Video, where it is available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The Hindi version is set to arrive at a later date. Released in theaters on November 14, 2024, Kanguva made its OTT entry within just three weeks. How it will fare with home audiences remains to be seen.
Bobby Deol plays the main antagonist, with Karthi making a special appearance in the climax. Supporting roles are played by Yogi Babu, KS Ravi Kumar, and others. Produced by Studio Green in association with UV Creations, the film features music by Devi Sri Prasad.
