It’s well known that hero Suriya will be joining forces with acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran for his much-awaited 40th film. Leading Tamil producer Kalaipuli S Thanu will be producing this exciting project.
Now, at an awards ceremony that was held last night in Chennai, Vetrimaaran revealed that his film with Suriya has been titled Vaadi Vaasal. The film is an adaptation of noted Tamil author CS Chellappa’s book of the same title. As the title suggests, the film will have the traditional Jallikattu (bullfighting) backdrop. GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring the music for the film.
