Generally, we don’t see promotional assets coming out in Tollywood without prior announcements from the production house, but the makers of Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin sprung a surprise by dropping the teaser suddenly a while ago. May 23 is special for the Akkineni family, as it marks the release day of ANR’s last film, Manam. Hence, the video asset was unveiled today.
Titled “Lenin – Manodu Vasthunnaadu,” the teaser showcases the film’s romantic theme and rural backdrop while also hinting at intense action towards the end. The teaser mainly revolves around the love track between Akhil and the leading lady Bhagyasri Borse, their playful exchanges, and cute chemistry.
Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyasri speak in the Rayalaseema accent, and their makeover looks pretty good as a village boy and belle. Shivaji and Saranya Pradeep play key roles. Thaman composes the tunes.
The film is produced by Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna Akkineni under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios. Lenin will hit cinemas on June 26.
