Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana, which Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari is directing, has constantly been in the headlines. While Ranbir plays Lord Rama, Yash and Sai Pallavi will be seen as Ravan and Sita, respectively. The movie went on floors in March, and since then, many pictures have leaked from the sets.
According to reports in Bollywood media, Ramayana will be made into a two-part film. Initially, the makers planned Ramayana as a trilogy, but now it has been decided to release this mythological drama in two installments instead of three. The reason behind this sudden development isn’t known, but the team plans to shoot both parts simultaneously in 350 days.
The makers decided to call it a wrap by December 2025, and the two films will be released in a one-year span as per the media reports. Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Lara Dutta are playing vital roles. The official announcement about this high-budget saga is yet to come.
