Bollywood is having a great year with solid blockbusters. Medium-budget flicks The Kerala Story and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke are among the list of films that made a solid impact at the box office. But surprisingly, both these films are yet to make their debut on OTT.

The Kerala Story landed in a huge controversy even before its release as makers claimed it to be a depiction of true events that happened in Kerala. The movie stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, Devadarshini, and Vijay Krishna in the key roles and is directed by Sudipto Sen. The film collected 242 crores nett at the domestic box office.

In an interview, Sudipto Sen said they haven’t received good offers from OTT platforms. Further, he added that many are irked by the success of his film. On the other hand, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (ZHZB) is devoid of any controversies, but the film is still not yet available for streaming. The delay behind the digital release of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is not known. According to a few reports, the streaming rights of this film are with Jio Cinema.

ZHZB is about a middle-class couple, and it stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film collected 88 crores nett in India. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke benefited majorly from its entertainment factor, lead actors, and chartbuster songs. Many are waiting for the digital release of both these films, and we need to see if there will be any update regarding the same in the near future.
