Released yesterday as Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday treat, Sye Raa’s teaser has set a new Tollywood record. The teaser clocked over 12 million digital views within 24 hours and became the first Tollywood teaser to achieve the feat.
Sye Raa’s teaser was full of grandeur and offered a few glimpses of what to expect from this magnum opus. The film is a biopic on the first Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy. Chiru’s getup in Narasimhareddy’s avatar has won immense praise from his fans.
Surender Reddy is directing this prestigious historical drama and Ram Charan is bankrolling it with a huge budget. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Nayanthara and Tamannaah in prominent roles.
