Taapsee is on top of her game with back-to-back films as the main lead. No heroine in Hindi has as many female-centric films as Taapsee.
Speaking in an interview, Taapsee says “I am glad that I am getting central roles, I can unabashedly say that some of the best scripts in the industry with a female protagonist come to me, and I am not going to be modest about it. When people come to me and tell me ‘this is written for you, I feel so thrilled”
Taapsee has not shied away from doing commercial films but says such films are not coming to her anymore. Only films with strong content are being offered to me and I would love to do a solid dance-based film.
