Taapsee, who’s celebrating her birthday today, is happy that her entire family is in Mumbai to celebrate the occasion. “Ever since I have become an actor, I rarely get to spend time with my parents on my birthdays. But this birthday has been different. We are all at home and it’s just like how it used to be when I was a kid,” the actress said.
Right from the early days of the lockdown, the actress has been trying to keep herself motivated and fit. While her efforts to learn cooking and learning a South Indian language didn’t go far, she did develop a good interest in gardening. And with her upcoming films like Loop Lapeta, Rashmi Rocket, and Shabhash Mithu requiring her to be fit and strong, the actress has been paying special attention to her health and fitness.
In a recent interview, Taapsee revealed her fitness routine saying, “I start the day with functional training and get in my cardio by running 2 kms in the evening. If it rains, I climb up the 45 flight of stairs in my building. I’ve been diligent about it. Even if I take a 2-3 days break from this routine, there’s enough going on around me to let negativity creep in. You really need those happy hormones, which are released during physical activity, to help you maintain your mental health too.”
