Taapsee, who has had a glorious year so far with films like Manmarziyan and Mulk earning her a lot of accolades, is all excited about her upcoming Tamil-Telugu film, Game Over. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, the actress will be playing a video game programmer who is wheel-chair bound after an accident.
Calling the film a quirky thriller, Taapsee said, “It is easily one of the toughest roles I have played so far. You feel so caged after being wheel chair bound for so long. And since the process of getting in and out of the leg cast was a long one, I decided to keep it on even during the breaks. Also, the film being a thriller requires me to move around in the wheelchair a lot and you gain control over it only after you spend time on it.”
The film is expected to hit the screens sometime in 2019. Meanwhile, Taapsee has already started shooting for Mission Mangal in which she is playing an ISRO scientist.
