Taapsee Pannu will be next seen in Shabaash Mithu, which is based on the life story of Indian women cricketer Mithali Raj. This biopic helmed by Srijit Mukherji is slated to hit the screens on 15th July 2022. As part of the movie’s promotions, Taapsee is giving media interviews.
In one of the interviews, Taapsee mentioned that she has only one dream role and it is to play a superhero in Avengers. The actress further added that she doesn’t want to replace any existing characters but wants to be an Indian superhero in the Avengers.
In many earlier instances, the actress expressed her wish to play the superhero role in this iconic Marvel series. Currently, Taapsee is playing the female lead in Sharukh Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani’s Dunki which has begun its shooting. She also confirmed that she will be backing a movie with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role.
