Every now and then, there’s a rumour about Tamannaah’s personal life that she’s planning to settle down and get married soon. Few months ago, there was even a strong rumour that she’s going to tie the knot with a US based doctor; however, none of that turned out to be true. In fact, the actress has been so busy with her work that it looks like she has no plans to go slow anytime soon.

Despite all this, the actress is constantly bombarded with questions about when she’s planning to get married. Addressing the topic, the actress opened up about her views on marriage, in a recent interview, saying, “There is too much emphasis put on marriage in a woman’s life for some odd reason in our country. I hope it eventually changes because marriage is a personal institution. Everyone need not want to be married. The fact that you want to be married to someone is a very deep thought and commitment but it is treated frivolously, and maybe that is why you don’t see many marriages working out.”

The actress was praised for her performance in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy; however, her recent Tamil film, Petromax, didn’t quite work well at the box office. She’s awaiting the release of her next Tamil film, Action, in which she’s paired up with Vishal, and there’s also a film with Gopichand in the pipeline.
