A Telugu film producer has been arrested today in Hyderabad for illegal possession of arms and ammunition. Jubilee Hills Police officials conducted a search today in the house of Mr. Rama Krishna, who has produced a Telugu film titled ‘Na Pellam Na Ishtam’ sometime ago. Two pistols and 14 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the house and Mr. Rama Krishna reportedly did not have any license for the same.
Mr. Rama Krishna is said to have informed the officials that the weapons were procured only for film making purposes. Police officials have arrested the producer and are now looking into the matter.
‘Na Pellam Na Ishtam’ had Posani Krishna Murali in the lead role.
