Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari is making her Tollywood debut with the Sudheer Babu-starrer romantic drama, Sammohanam. The film’s teaser was unveiled by Megastar Chiranjeevi a couple of days ago and everyone was in awe listening to Aditi’s own voice.
In her latest interview with an English daily, Aditi opened up about what made her to take the bold decision of dubbing in her own voice on her Telugu debut. “My director and I agreed on it. As the shooting progressed, he wanted me to dub my own lines for more authenticity. I wanted to do it as well, and I put in a lot of hard work,” said Aditi.
It’s well-known that Aditi hails from a royal family in Hyderabad. “Many people think that I grew up here, but I grew up in the north, and I don’t know the language. But I was determined to dub for my part. Telugu is a beautiful language with a lot of history. I have been working on it so that it helps me get my expressions right. I have always understood basic Telugu, but I don’t speak it,” she added.
