Film collections across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana suffered big losses today. The reason is the India Pakistan clash today for the T20 world cup. While interest in the T 20 World Cup itself is high, the presence of arch rivals India and Pakistan in today’s encounter has only added to the interest.
Across the states, all theaters are reporting massive drops for the first show and second show. Some theaters in smaller towns and villages have decided to suspend shows altogether while a few are screening the match itself.
