Shah Rukh Khan’s recent blockbuster Jawan, an action drama directed by Atlee Kumar, has made waves not only at the box office but also on Netflix after its debut on November 2, 2023.

According to the latest statistics from Netflix, this mega-blockbuster has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the highest-viewed Bollywood movie on the platform. Between October 30 and November 5, 2023, the movie accumulated a staggering 14.9 million watching hours, surpassing the previous record held by Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which had 13.8 million watching hours.

Fans are eagerly anticipating whether Jawan can break the record set by SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which had 18.45 million viewing hours, to become the most-watched Indian movie on Netflix. We will have to wait and see if it can achieve this feat or not.

Jawan features a star-studded cast, including Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and others in significant roles. Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, the film boasts a captivating soundtrack composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
