Garividi Lakshmi is a biographical drama based on the life of Uttarandhra folk singer Garividi Lakshmi. Anandhi plays the titular role, while Gowri Naidu Jammu is the director. The theatrical trailer was well received by the audience.
During the pre-release press meet, producer TG Vishwa Prasad was asked if the team was satisfied with the theatre allocation amid the competition. He said, “It’s all about commerce. Obviously, big films will take a bigger opening. Ours is not a small film, but it’s a good film. We are arriving on October 17, and we strongly believe that Garividi Lakshmi will have a long run.”
TG Vishwa Prasad added, “We believe all three films will do well, and that Garividi Lakshmi will pick up steam slowly.” The movie offers a detailed glimpse into the remarkable journey of Garividi Lakshmi and the various highs and lows she experienced in her life.
