The much-awaited Thandel Jaathara pre-release event of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s soon-to-release romantic drama, Thandel, will be held this evening at Annapurna Studios. Interestingly, the makers have opted to keep the event a low-key affair without the presence of fans and media personnel. The move could be a result of the unfortunate stampede that took place during Pushpa 2’s premiere at the Sandhya 70mm theater.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Allu Arjun’s speech at the Thandel Jaathara event. This will be the first official event in which Allu Arjun would be participating following the Sandhya 70mm stampede tragedy. A lot has happened in Allu Arjun’s life after the stampede claimed a woman’s life and critically injured a young Allu Arjun fan.
Allu Arjun has been subjected to intense criticism. Even a couple of press meets Allu Arjun held after his release from Chanchalguda Jail backfired, and the Icon Star was targeted over his presence and response during the stampede incident. In this scenario, Allu Arjun’s speech at the Thandel Jaathara event will be keenly awaited by fans and political circles.
Thandel is produced by Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, and produced by his close friend Bunny Vas under the Geetha Arts banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer. Thandel is hitting theaters worldwide on February 7 in multiple Indian languages.
