The Kerala Story, headlined by Adah Sharma, sparked massive controversy even before the release as the makers claimed the movie is based on forceful conversions of Kerala women to Muslims. The controversy helped the movie become a huge blockbuster. Despite bad reviews from critics and propaganda remarks, the movie made around 240 crores nett in India, which is exceptional.
Nearly nine months after its theatrical release, the movie has now made its digital premiere on ZEE5. The Kerala Story is currently available for streaming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages along with English subtitles. This is a great opportunity for all those who missed watching this flick in theatres.
The Kerala Story also starred Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhi Idnani, Devadarshini, and Vijay Krishna in pivotal roles. Sudipto Sen is the writer and director of this film. Vipul Amrutlal Shah bankrolled The Kerala Story. Viresh Srivaisa and Bishakh Jyoti composed the tunes.
