Controversial film The Kerala Story is going all guns blazing at the ticket windows. The movie is about a few Kerala women who were said to be systematically converted to Muslims and forcefully made part of terrorist organizations. Adah Sharma headlined this flick directed by Sudipto Sen.
The film raked in a solid 19.5 crores nett on its second Saturday. The second Friday collections were 12.35 crores, and this solid jump helped the film zoom past the 100 crore mark. The total collections now stand at 112 crores. Today being Sunday, another 20 crores are expected to add to the tally.
Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Siddhu Idnani, Devadarshini, and Vijay Krishna played other key roles. Viresh Sreevalsa and Bishakh Jyoti composed the tunes.
Vipul Amrutal Shah is the producer and the creative director of the film. The Telugu version was released in theatres yesterday.
